The photos have finally been released. After endless anticipation I finally get to see snapshots of the fruits of me and Kathie’s labor.  It was a a quick yet never ending journey to get these costumes up on the stage, but it was completely worth it! Almost one hundred percent of these costumes are vintage from the 50’s and 60’s. Which, you can only imagine, was a challenge within its self. My mentor Kathie, spent endless nights on ebay and Etsy looking for dresses, as I shopped for vintage patterns and prepped my fingers for extreme rhinestoning. Here ya’ go kiddies. The fourth of July is talked up to be the all American holiday, one filled with baby back ribs, beer, and a lot of red white and blue. However, why is it that on this day of celebration, I spent my day doing not so patriotic things? Why is it that today, I went shopping? 

Maybe this is the new American way, but I remember my fourth of July being a bit more traditional.
