The photos have finally been released. After endless anticipation I finally get to see snapshots of the fruits of me and Kathie’s labor. It was a a quick yet never ending journey to get these costumes up on the stage, but it was completely worth it! Almost one hundred percent of these costumes are vintage from the 50’s and 60’s. Which, you can only imagine, was a challenge within its self. My mentor Kathie, spent endless nights on ebay and Etsy looking for dresses, as I shopped for vintage patterns and prepped my fingers for extreme rhinestoning. Here ya’ go kiddies. Continue reading
The fourth of July is talked up to be the all American holiday, one filled with baby back ribs, beer, and a lot of red white and blue. However, why is it that on this day of celebration, I spent my day doing not so patriotic things? Why is it that today, I went shopping?

The Alexander Cole & Co. Etsy store is now open and ready for business! Please take a look as I re-work some of the most clever vintage finds into wonderful works of art! Please stop by and take a look. It is a work in progress and there is plenty more to come!

It is time that I clean up my act and get this website rolling. With a full year of college education at the prestigious (and slightly pretentious) New York University under my belt, I now have the confidence and the time to do what I do best: blog about life and design and make things to sell via Etsy… Sounds easy I think. We will see…

The New Year is here and it is now time to throw away those faded button down point collar shirts, those worn out socks, and those trashy sundresses, and bring in something new and exciting. And for those of you who have not noticed, I have taken a similar approach with the reinvention of my brand thanks to my brother, a multimedia journalist and design connoisseur, Benjamin Max Gottlieb (be sure to check out some of his cool stuff on his website, http://www.benjaminmaxgottlieb.com). I have made my resolution to re-view, re-new, re-design my brand (and my life) and take it to a level it has never been before.
Stimulated yet? Well just wait, more to come.
